Process to make the US visa payment through bank.
  1. Log onto the website  www.ustraveldocs.com/in
  2. Create your profile (login id & password)
  3. Click on Schedule Appointment option on the left panel
  4. After completion of passport and DS-160 details Click on all payment option and choose AXIS BANK / CITIBANK
  5. You will get a CGI Reference Sheet with CGI No. (12 digit code) & the amount to be deposited in Chosen Bank. 
  6. The Bank, against this CGI No. will issue a BANK REFERENCE NUMBER which will be used to schedule Appointment.

US H1B Work Visa Petition Filing Documents and Procedure

Process 
  1. Employer first files a Labour Condition Application (LCA) with the U.S. Department of Labour and gets the L.C.A. certified. 
  2. Petitions to be filed with the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (B.C.I.S.) by a company or organization in the United States with following documents
Documents required for H1B visa petition filing
  1. Fee for filing I-129
    • Base fee
    • ACWIA fee (ACWIA fee (This fee is also called American Competitiveness and Workforce Improvement Act of 1998)-for employers with fewer than 25 full-time employees in the United States.) .
    • Fraud Prevention and Detection fee,on behalf of each beneficiary by a petitioner. This is not applicable for Chile/Singapore H-1B1 cases. This is applicable for both initial H1B and H1B transfer cases
    • Boarder Security fee  
    • Premium Processing Service fee (if applicable)
  2. Form I-129, Petition for a Non-immigrant Worker
    • If the beneficiary is in the US, evidence such as Form I-94 (arrival-departure record) or Form I-797 approval notice should be included to establish that the beneficiary will have maintained a valid nonimmigrant status through the employment start date being requested.
  3. Form G-28, if represented by attorney or accredited representative
  4. Form I-907, if filing for Premium Processing Service
  5. A certified Labor Condition Application, Form ETA 9035, from Department of Labor. A copy of the Labor Condition Application is acceptable. If the Labor Condition Application is for multiple positions, you should provide the name and USCIS case receipt number of any alien who has previously utilized it.
  6. Employer/Attorney/Representative letter;
  7. Copies of the educational experience certificates.
    • The prospective H-1B employee must hold a U.S. bachelor's or higher degree, or the equivalent. The person must hold a U.S. equivalent 4 years bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university. If the foreign degree is 3 years bachelor's degree , a 3 years of work experience in same or similar field /occupation can be considered to one year additional education.
  8. A copy of any required license or other official permission to practice the occupation in the state of intended employment;
  9. A copy of any written contract between the employee and the employer.
  10. A copy of the employee’s valid passport.

Before you apply for a US visa, you should know the followings;
VISA TYPES:
There are many types of visas, divided into two groups: non-immigrant and immigrant visas. A non-immigrant visa is basically a short- term visa for a temporary stay, while an immigrant visa facilitates permanent stay in the U.S.

    • Recent contracts, bills of lading or other documentary evidence of recent imports and exports of purchases.
  • If applicant is going to attend any business/educational/ commercial or professional seminar or conference you must have the event registration proof, letter of invitation, brochure of event, any printed/media/website printout having reference to this event.

US Tourist Visa (B2 Visa) Requirements and Procedures



Process Overview
  1. Fill up online visa application (DS 160) online. For details click here
  2. Pay the visa application fee.
  3. Setup an appointment for the interview 
  4. Appear in person for an appointment at the Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC)
  5. Visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate( except applicants under the age of 14 or over the age of 79)
  6. Returning the passport with or without visa

List of required documents for Tourist visa application


From the applicant side 
  • Passport with minimum six month validity from the date of entry to US.
  • Photographs -if interview is exempted for you 
  • DS 160 confirmation form.-Two know how to fill online visa application form (DS 160) click here
  • Interview appointment letter
  • Leave approval letter/NOC from the employer -If employed (detailing position, salary, employment duration; the period of vacation; and the purpose of trip.)
  • Salary slips for the past  months –if employed
  • Evidence of financial resources like
    • Property papers (shop or business ownership documents) etc.
    • Original Bank statements/Passbook.
    • Fixed Deposit/ Share/mutual funds statement.
    • Income Tax returns statements(for few years)
  • Tour voucher and tour operator letter –if travelling in a package tour
  • Address proof document –if your current address is different from passport address.
  • Original Birth Certificate- If the applicant is below 14 yrs of age
  • If a minor travelling alone -A no objection certificate signed by both parents
  • If a minor accompanied by one parent -A no objection certificate by the other parent.
  • If  students travelling - a permission letter from school/college, including phone numbers and address, confirming the leave for specified period of travel
  • NOC from the spouse –if the spouse not accompanying 
If you are travelling to visit a friend or relative US, arrange following documents from the host
  • Completed and notarized Affidavit of Support form I-134.
  • A letter from Bank/banks (on their business letter head), stating the sponsor account summary.
  • Copy of your Bank Statement, showing a good balance in order to justify your financial position.
  • Certificate Letter  from your employer (on company's business letter head), stating that you are a permanent employee of the company, and also stating your salary.
  • Pay slips copies.
  • Copy of  income tax returns or  W2 forms of the past few years.
  • photocopies of the relative’s proof of status  e.g. Green Card, naturalization certificate,
  • Copies of your - Visa (H1/L1), H1 Approval Form (I-797) and I-94. (If visa has expired but has a renewed petition, a photocopy of the renewed petition.)
  • If USA citizen: Copy of certificate of citizenship.
  • If you are sponsoring your in-laws, photocopies of all pages including blank pages of your spouse's passport and your marriage certificate is also required.
  • If sponsoring your parents, original birth certificate of the sponsor child (son or daughter) is required.
  • If you are inviting your in-laws, then spouse's birth certificate is required not yours.
  • An application/letter  from you to the US consulate in India (address it to the particular consulate e.g. Delhi), requesting for issuing a visitor visa to the concerned person, stating that you will be taking care of every requirement for these people, including tickets, boarding and other expenses in USA.
  • A formal invitation letter addressed to the person(s) you are inviting to US. Also stating that you will be taking care of all their needs while in US, including tickets, boarding and other expenses in here.
For parents visiting a child resident in the U.S.:

  • If child is an Indian citizen.
    • Childs’s original birth certificate.
    • Photocopy of all pages of child’s passport.
  • Where the U.S. visa of child has expired, photocopy of the renewed petition required.
  •  Where child is a legal permanent resident in USA, photocopy of the green card (front and back) is required.
  •  Photocopies of the relative’s proof of status e.g. Green Card, naturalization certificate, valid visa etc.


Important;
  • Above listed documents are not a final, Consulate/ Embassy may ask additional documents
  • Since the basic criteria for tourist visa is to demonstrate the purpose of the visit is tourist related and has strong ties back in home country. Applicant should be able to convince the consular officer that applicant has some bindings back in India/home country and that he/she will come back after his/her visit.

USA L1 B Work Visa Requirement and Procedure


L visas are for intra-company transferees who, within the three preceding years, have been employed abroad continuously for one year, and who will be employed by a branch, parent, affiliate, or subsidiary of that same employer in the U.S

  2. Pay the visa application fee.
  3. Setup an appointment for the interview through www.ustraveldocs.com/in
  4. Appear in person for an appointment at the Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC)
  5. Visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate
  6. Returning the passport with visa by courier(If the visa is rejected ,passport will be returned across the interview counter)
Documents required for L1 B Visa stamping 
  • Passport - Old and New
  • One recent (within the past six months) passport size photograph 50mm X 50mm (2" x 2") with a white or off-white background.
  • Confirmation page of online submitted DS-160 Form with bar code. 
  • Visa Fees DD( Issuance Fee)equivalent to USD 500
  • Visa fee receipt (which you have used to schedule appointment)
  • Print out of Interview  letter.
  • Three copies of I-797( Notice of Action.)-for L1 Blank applicants
  • I-129S-for L1 Blanket applicants
  • Copy of I-129 and letter from employer that describes your proposed duties.

  • Original educational certificates along with mark sheets.

U.S.A. Visa Application Form (DS 160) Filling guidelines:

Before you fill the form please go through the following instruction:
  • Please answer all questions. Your answers must be in English and must use English characters, except when you are asked to provide your full name in your native alphabet. Letters like ñ, é, ü, ç are not recognized by the system.
  • If there is no activity for 20 minutes or more in the process of completing this online application, your session will expire and all data that you have entered into the current page will be lost.
  • Application will be automatically saved each time you click the “Next” button. If you need to stop your application before submitting it, you should record the Application ID displayed on the top right-hand corner. You will need this Application ID to continue your application at a later date. You will be able to retrieve your un submitted application for the next 30 days. To complete your application after 30 days, you can permanently save the application to a disk or to your hard drive. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the last page you have completed and follow the instructions to save the application data to a file.
  • Please have your passport, previous visa information (if applicable), and any other documents relevant to your intended travel to the United States ready and available for your reference before you start the application process
  • Review the information you entered for accuracy.
  • Print the confirmation page.
  • Print the confirmation page with you at all steps during the visa application process.
