Malaysia Visitor's Pass (Professional) Requirement

Visitor's Pass (Professional) is issued to a foreigner who hold acceptable professional qualifications or specialist skills and enter Malaysia to take up professional work for short term period not exceeding twelve (12) month.

Required Documents:-

• Letter of Authority
• Application Letter from sponsor
• Form 12. Please download from http://www.imi.gov.my
• Form IMM 38- Please download from http://www.imi.gov.my
• 2 recent passport size photographs
• Personal Bond
• Letter of acceptance
• Photocopy of Passport
• Training schedule
• Photocopy of academic certificate
• Photocopy of company's registration Form( certified copy of Form9, 24, and 49)
• Company profile
• Invoices and proof of purchase for machines and equipment
• Locality plan
• If relevant:
• Letter from the Economic Planning Unit (Independent Research)
• Recommendation Letter from the National Sport Council for coaches
• Recommendation Letter from the Malayan Racing Association, Malaysia Jockey Association- Selangor, Perak and Penang
• Recommendation Letter from the Welfare Department

• Note: The application for a Visitor’s Pass (Professional) for a period not exceeding  six  (6) months can be submitted to the nearest Immigration Office, for the following categories:

Installation of machines
Maintenance of machines
Repairing of machines
Installation of new product on the existing machine
Providing/conducting training
Attending training at a Factory or Hotel

Malaysia Business Visa Requirement

• Original Passport
• Valid passport with at least six months validity on the date of departure from Singapore.
• The passport should contains at least one double blank page reserved for visa stamping (blank front and back)
• Old passport  or passports –if applicable
• Duly completed Visa Form 
• Two Photos (see the detailed photo specification below )
• Taken against a white background
• Matt or semi-matt finish
• Size of the photo (35 X 45 mm).
• without border and taken within the last 3 months
• A visa requisition letter from applicant organization
• Business Invitation letter from Malaysian invitee company
• Proof of Sufficient fund – e.g.  Bank statement for the past three months
• Hotel Booking -
• Address proof of the applicant -If residing on any other address as mentioned on the passport.
• Confirmed return air ticket.
• Leave approval letter from the employer  –if any
• If a minor travelling alone -A no objection certificate signed by both parents and their passport copy
• If a minor accompanied by one parent -A no objection certificate by the other parent and his/her passport copy

Processing Time:
Three working days (excluding the day of submission)
