New Visa fee payment system introduced from 26 September 2012
You can choose following payment option
- Cash – Over the Counter (AXIS Bank and Citibank)
- Cash – Over the Counter at DRUK Bank
- National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)
- Mobile Payments – IMPS
- Log onto the website www.ustraveldocs.com/in
- Create your profile (login id & password)
- Click on Schedule Appointment option on the left panel
- After completion of passport and DS-160 details Click on all payment option and choose AXIS BANK / CITIBANK
- You will get a CGI Reference Sheet with CGI No. (12 digit code) & the amount to be deposited in Chosen Bank.
- The Bank, against this CGI No. will issue a BANK REFERENCE NUMBER which will be used to schedule Appointment.

Government of India has launched electronic travel authorisation or eTA for India which allows citizens of 180 countries to travel to India without requiring a physical stamping on the passport.
