What is G.C.C.
It is simply an acronym (short-form) of Gulf Cooperation Council. Members of the Gulf Cooperation Council are ;

1. The kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
2. United Arab Emirates.
3. The Kingdom of Bahrain.
4. The Sultanate of Oman
5. Qatar.
6. Kuwait.

Please note , a separate medical examination is required for Kuwait work visa. In India it is handled by Khadamat Integrated Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Who require a G.C.C Medical Certificate/Who must undergo a G.C.C Medical Test .

If you are a national from the following countries and going for a long-term visa( e,g: Work , Student), you must undergo G.C.C medical examination.

Countries required a G.C.C Medical Certificate are :India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka,Bangladesh, Philippines, Indonesia,Nepal,Egypt,Sudan,Ethiopia.

Why a G.C.C Medical Certificate Required

It is to protect its citizen for diseases , threats etc. G.C.C countries have very valid reasons to be more strict for medical exams for these countries(listed in previous question) as they have high rate of infectious diseases and low health care services.

When I have to get this Medical Certificate.

Before your travel to G.C.C countries. G.C.C countries are ;The kingdom Of Saudi Arabia,United Arab Emirates.,The Kingdom of Bahrain,The Sultanate of Oman,Qatar,Kuwait.

What will happen if I don't pass the G.C.C. medical examination done before my travel.

You will not be able to get a resident permit for G.C.C countries.

What is the Process of G.C.C Medical Test

Step 1> Before your travel. Go to a  G.C.C approved medical center in your home country, undergo the test and get the certificate.

Step 2> After your arrival in G.C.C Country . Same medical test will be repeated and the result should match with the first test, else resident permit will not be granted.

What is the validity of a G.C.C Medical certificate.

Validity of expatriate medical examination reports issued by the health centers are for three months.
