Who can apply for Australia E-Visitor visa online
- Visa pplicant must beoutside of Australia to make the application;
- Visa applciant must hold an eVisitor eligible passport; and
- Visa applciant must have a genuine intention to visit Australia temporarily for either:
- tourism purpose, which can include visiting family or friends; or
- business purpose, which can include attending:
- education or business meetings;seminars;
- conventions/conferences.

The Australian Immigration will send you an email once visa decision has been taken on your eVisitor application.
If you do not receive an email from Australian Immigration within 12 hours of lodging your application, login to your ImmiAccount to check the status of the application.

This new type of authorisation is called an eVisa India (or electronic India Visa).
