Philippines Employment Visa Process Overview.
Documents required for visa stamping
- Step 1) Obtain an Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from the Philippine Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE) and a work visa from the Bureau of Immigration- If assignments more than six months. For assignments of six months or less, a Special Work Permit must be obtained from the Bureau of Immigration.
- Step2) Applying for visa stamping at the Philippines Embassy /Consulate.
Documents required for visa stamping
- Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
- Photocopy of data and amendment pages of the applicant’s passport.
- Attach all your old passports (if any)
- One visa application form duly filled and signed.
- Two white background matt or semi matt finish photographs with 60%-80% face coverage and size of the photo shouldbe 35mm x 45mm)
- A visa requisition letter stating employer's full name address and telephone no., applicant's length of service and salary details the business letter head stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit.
- Pre-Arranged Employment Visa - from the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs before this visa can be issued.
- Educational certificate copy
- Experience certificate – if any
- Police Clearance Certificate.
- Medical: Health Certificate issued by authorized physician, including chest x-ray
- Address Proof- if there is a change in address
